Chinese tea · the dark side

Thirty-four teas, one of them will find you

Single-origin Chinese tea, shot down the barrel. Gold on black, one red line, and the leaf photographed as evidence rather than decoration.

Pressed pu-erh clumps in a tin seen through a gun-barrel spiral in gold on black, a red slash below and the tea name in pinyin

Why this shop looks like a title sequence

Every design here is built the way a title sequence is built: one spiral, one gold, one red line, and the subject caught in the middle of it. The subject is the tea, photographed from above and left alone — no styling, no props, no steam added later. Black paper does the rest, because dark leaf and pressed pu-erh read better on it than on white. The names stay in pinyin and in hanzi on every design, so a dossier is still a dossier and not a poster with a slogan. Thirty-four teas, one treatment, no exceptions.
